A travel channel built for kids, not just their parents.
Most travel websites are written for adults planning a trip. The flight windows, the hotel reviews, the "10 Best Rooftop Bars," all useful, if you're the one booking. But somewhere in that itinerary is a kid who's coming along for the ride, and almost nobody is writing for them.
We started Kids Travel Channel because we think that's backwards.
Kids don't experience a destination the way adults do. They don't care about the best rooftop bar or a Michelin star; they care about whether the hotel pool has a slide, what the weirdest food they can legally try is, and whether there's a dinosaur somewhere on this trip. Travel, done right, is one of the best educations a kid can get, and it should be fun enough that they never notice they're learning.
So that's what we build: destination guides, theme park breakdowns, packing lists, and food adventures written with kids actually in mind, not as an afterthought tacked onto a parents' guide, but as the whole point. We dig into the logistics so parents don't have to, and we chase down the details that make a trip feel like an adventure instead of a checklist: the hawker stall kids will beg to go back to, the ride worth the wait, the local dish nobody warned you your five-year-old would love.
What we publish
We cover the parts of a family trip that actually make or break the day-to-day, not just where to go, but how to get there, what to eat, and what to pack so nobody's melting down by 2 p.m.
- Hotels & Attractions — Where to stay and what's actually worth the ticket price, reviewed with kids' patience (and parents' sanity) in mind.
- Disney Vacations — Ride strategy, park logistics, and the details that turn a Disney trip from overwhelming into magical.
- The Local Food Section — Field guides to what to eat on the ground, from street food to sit-down spots kids will actually finish their plate at.
- The Cooking Section — Simple, kid-friendly recipes inspired by the places we cover, so the trip doesn't have to end when you get home.
- Packing Essentials — What to bring, what to skip, and how to fit it all in one bag per kid.
Who we are
Kids Travel Channel is written and researched by a team of family travel writers, editors, and parents, not any single voice, and not a face you'll find on the homepage. We keep it that way on purpose. This isn't about one family's trip; it's about building a resource every family can use, backed by research and firsthand travel rather than personality.
What we bring to the table: nearly two decades in the travel industry since 2005, firsthand experience in more than 20 countries, and have visited every Disney park. We've made the mistakes, found the shortcuts, and figured out what's actually worth packing, so you don't have to learn it the hard way.
